About Úna Fitzpatrick
Úna has a Ph.D. in botany and worked on the conservation genetics of Irish bees, before moving to the National Biodiversity Data Centre in 2007. As an ecologist within the Data Centre she manages the National Vascular Plant Database, the National Vegetation Database, and the Irish Pollinator Initiative. She has set up various citizen science initiatives on the conservation of Irish plants and pollinators and is always looking for more recruits!
