New beginning birding series in association with Meopta Optics

Meopta LogoIreland’s Wildlife has teamed up with premium Czech optics manufacturer Meopta to bring you a series of four articles focussed on Beginning Birdwatching.

Launching later this month, the series looks at why we watch birds; the relationship between birds, habitats and seasons in Ireland; bird identification basics and choosing the right birding equipment. It is aimed squarely at the birding novice, and is designed to help people just getting started on their birding adventure to hit the ground running in what is a tremendously enjoyable and rewarding pastime.

We are absolutely delighted to be working with Meopta to bring you this content on the Ireland’s Wildlife site, and look forward to developing more great content in collaboration with Meopta and other brands moving forward.

NB. you’ll find more content on birds and birding in Ireland on this page.

Why we’re working with brands to enhance content development

Meopta Optics BannerCreating high quality content is a resource intensive process. Working with brands helps us to dedicate the time great content demands and deliver the quality you deserve.

It’s a win-win scenario. By partnering with us for content development projects companies get their brand in front of you… Ireland’s Wildlife readers, and we get to develop more outstanding wildlife related content for the site, and ultimately for you, the reader.

One important point here is that as a condition of the partnership we retain complete editorial control over the content produced — so the brand has no promotional input into the article beyond deciding on the topic we’re going to cover as part of the initial agreement. The only brand-centric “promotional” content will appear in the “In association with” resource box at the end of  the content, along with a link to the brand website where you can find out more. Other than that the content itself will be the same as any other article on the Ireland’s Wildlife website.

We’re looking forward to bringing you lots more great wildlife content in the near future.
