Discover Wildlife Weekend Bookings
For convenience (on both sides), and to avoid handling cash/cheques during the weekends, the €90 per perspon fee (including a €10 non-refundable booking deposit) is payable in advance to secure your place on the weekend.
The fee covers the guided weekend field excursions, talks and the venue… as specified on the description page… it DOES NOT include food and accommodation, or additional expenses like boat trips should the opportunity arise (we’ll give you details of how to avail of the special Discover Wildlife accommodation package at the Celtic Ross Hotel in the weekend information sheet once you’ve booked).
Cancellation Policy
- If Ireland’s Wildlife has to cancel the weekend, for whatever reason, you will receive a full refund of any fee paid.
- If you cancel more than 14 days before the weekend commences you are entitled to a refund of €80 per person (€90 fee minus the €10 booking deposit), or to an alternative place on another weekend subject to availability.
- If you cancel less than 14 days but more than 7 days before the weekend commences you are entitled to a refund of €60 per person (€90 minus the €10 booking deposit and a €20 cancellation fee), or an alternative place on another weekend subject to availability.
- If you cancel less than 7 days before the weekend commences we regret we are unable to offer a refund, but will offer you an alternative place on another weekend subject to availability.
Transportation
We operate a car-pooling system on the weekends to move between wildlife-watching sites in as few vehicles as possible. We ask participants with their own vehicles to work with us on the car-pooling arrangements, which we’ll work out on the Friday evening after registration.
Personal Safety & Belongings
While we always put safety and security first during these weekends, you remain responsible for your own safety and well being, and for the security of your belongings while attending the Discover Wildlife Weekend. By booking your place on a Discover Wildlife Weekend you agree to indemnify Ireland’s Wildlife, our guides and representatives from liability for any mishaps, loss or damage, however caused.
