Privacy Policy

Our privacy policy is really simple and straightforward.

  1. We will never share your email address or other personal information you provide with any third party without your express permission to do so. You are free to opt out of our mailing list at any time using the links provided in every email we send out and on the original confirmation email you received when you signed up.
  2. Any information you choose to share in public areas of the site (as and when they are implemented) is up to you, but you will have control over what information you share. We will let you know where information will appear on the site wherever relevant, helping you to make an informed decision about what you’d like to share with other users.
  3. The website uses routine cookies to store information on your computer to help certain website features to work properly. We also use Google Analytics to track anonymous usage data on the site… which also uses cookies. We use that data to help us understand how people interact with the site so that we can make informed decisions about the content and features we bring to you on Ireland’s Wildlife. You are free to opt out of using cookies at any time using the cookie control feature on the bottom left of the page — but be aware that some features of the site won’t work properly with cookies disabled.
  4. That’s all for now… we won’t share your personal information with anyone… what you choose to share yourself is up to you.
