This stunning macro photo of a crab spider at Boora Parklands, Co. Offaly was posted to the Ireland’s Wildlife Flickr Group by Michael Carroll. It’s an amazing shot of an animal that I have yet to see in Ireland… not for want of trying. Not jealous at all.
Well, maybe… just a little bit!

One of these was just crawling on my neck! I got freaked out when I saw it. In Douglas, Cork.
Are they dangerous?

I found a white crab spider today in my garden…. first time I ever saw one…. Is it unusual in a surburban garden?… I live in Dean’s Grange Co Dublin.

Thanks Mark… will keep an eye out. Must get hold of a decent Nikon fit macro lens too!

Try out the Tamron 90 mm macro lens for Nikon. Spectacular clarity and with 3 pre-settings for long, medium and close up work. I do my macro work with one after abandoning macro extenders.
